Gardens of the Year 2008
The gardens of Val Joanis have been elected "gardens of the year 2008" by the Association of Garden and Horticulture journalists.

The Gardens of Val Joanis have just been awarded the mention "Jardin Remarquable" by the French Ministère de la Culture.

"Jean Louis Chancel has sparred no effort to maintain the quality of this wine. Having already won a Coup de Coeur for its 2000 vintage in the 2004 edition, it is awarded two stars for the second time in a row. Syrah on a clay / limestone soil gives it a very dark robe. Aromas of truf.e and garrigue, together with intense notes of red fruits and a good tanic structure are the main characteristics of this remarkable wine."
